Back on Track

Well, as the title would suggest, I'm back on my education track. True that it is not particularly the track that I would like to go down, but at this point in the game, I would just really like to finish my degree. The fastest track to that is to get my degree in Asian Studies. Since I should be able to either test out of, or skip all together the language portions of the curriculum that will significantly reduce the amount of credits I need to finish this. I still have quite a few classes though that I need to get out of the way, so I'm just focusing on taking those right now. I'm a bit sad I don't have more flexibility in the classes I can take because I would really love to take some astronomy classes. Maybe someday. Anyways, hopefully all will go smoothly with me finishing up my degree, and if OTS still looks like a good idea when I'm done, I'll apply and get picked up! We shall see.

Going Prehistoric

After watching a few new episodes of "Heroes" that just downloaded, I was roaming around the internet and found this interesting browser based game called BC Wars. Basically, you make a cave man, and then run around collecting clams (which I guess is money) and killing dinosaurs. It sucked up a good 30 mins of my time. Mildly entertaining.

I'm not too exciting

Well, today was pretty uneventful. After I got home from work, Patty and I went and got some sushi aka lifeblood, and then we went grocery shopping. Good times, eh? When we got home, we each had a beer, and pretty much spent the rest of the evening watching Star Gate Atlantis. I know I know...I'm a dork, but really...I'm ok with that. Infact I plum like it that way. Oh, and for the record despite what Patty might say, she has taken a liking to the show. :)

Day 1

Today some of our friends dropped off a xmas present for us! I was pretty excited because as you might have found out already from Patty's blog, we've become quite the board-gamers! Anyways, we got the Battlestar Galactica board game, and I decided to read through all of the rules. The board games we normally play might have about 4 or 5 pages of instructions, but this baby had 30 pages chock full of rules! It looks like it will be really fun! I can't wait to play it! If your interested in learning more about this game, you can ck out reviews and such here. So say we all!

Epic Fail

For all of my avid blog readers out there, anxiously anticipating my blog updates I must apologize. I have not done quite a good job at keeping you all in the loop with my blog. However, since pictures have been said to be worth 1000 words, I thought that I would follow Patty's example and try to do this Project 365. This I think I can do, and would even be into! I love photography, and I can think of nothing I would like more than to share them all with you! Now, unfortunately I can't take pictures of where I work, so they will have to be of other activities I have done throughout the day. Unlike Patty though, I'm not going to start a new picture blog...I'm just going to use my current one...afterall, these are my memoirs, are they not? In any event, I will start it tonight! Thankyou for taking part in my life...however distant! :)

I DECLARE.....

my intentions to write a blog!

I know I have been yet again bad at writing, but I would like to write a blog now. Sadly, I have not the time as I must sleep to try and conquer this stupid cold that has taken over my life. For the 3 people that are interested in what I have to say, stay tuned.

After these messages, we'll be right back!

A Brief Note

I haven't written for awhile, so I thought I would just let everyone know that I am still alive! Patty and I haven't been up to much since camping. Last weekend we ran a 5k race together. The weather turned out to be quite hot, but overall it was a good race. We ended up going with a friend of ours named Kara, who was quite stoked to run the race, and also really wants to do the triathlon that is coming up! I will be in MD then I think, so I will not be able to participate! I can't say as though I am terribly sad about it. I like to do physical activity alot, but I'm just not a big race person.
Other than that it has been really low key for us. Patty has become addicted to a farming game. She plays it all day long! Basically she has a little farm which she plants vegetables in, and then when they have grown she harvests them and sells them! Sometimes these "plants" take days to grow!
In retaliation of her online farm, I started to play a rather silly game called Tagoria. I don't know how much of a game it actually is because all you do is really click on things to and wait to find out what happens. It is pretty uneventful, but strangely addicting. I find myself looking forward to the little battle reports it gives about the fights. They are really kind of ridiculous, but oh well...it is something to do! The link to the game is below so you can all ck out the "game".
Anyways, that is about it.
